Inductive Proximity Switch, 40 mm Range

This Pepperl + Fuchs Inductive sensor is of a rectangular body design with a rated operating distance of 40 mm and has been designed for the non-contact detection of metal objects. The sensor head is bidirectional and rotatable, non-flush mounting. 4 built-in LEDs provide the user with operational status of the sensor with 360 degrees of visibility.

Featuring a durable plastic body that is IP68/69K rated and reverse polarity protection, with pulsing short-circuit protection, NPN switching and a NO contact configuration with an operating voltage of 10 to 30 VDC. Inductive proximity sensors are the preferred choice for the majority of applications requiring accurate, non-contact detection of metallic objects in machinery or automation equipment.
