Transponder Coded Safety Switch with guard locking, CET3-AR Series

The CET3-AR Transponder Coded Safety Switch utilises the closed-circuit current principle - guard locking using a powerful spring force. Designed to last and suitable for numerous safety gate/machine access installations with its robust stainless-steel body, IP67 rating and a locking force of 6500N. Guard locking spring force is released when voltage is applied to the guard locking solenoid. The position of the door is also monitored as an additional safety feature. Auxiliary release is included as standard, and built-in LEDs help provide diagnostic and operational status updates.

These Non-contact Safety Switch Actuators are coded (unicode), which means that the switch only detects actuators that have been taught-in to the device. Additional actuators can be used, however, only the last one detected and taught-in is recognised. Functionality includes a built-in lockout mechanism can be used to help prevent personnel from being unintentionally locked in the secured/danger zone.  This Safety Switch with Guard Locking can be operated in conjunction with a CET-A… actuator (ordered separately).
